Once children begin to reach higher grade levels, it is important for parents to start considering buying school supplies in different subjects other than the typical notebooks and pens for reading and writing. Science labs and classes start to increase the need for a variety of different supplies and parents are usually provided a list from the teachers describing what is needed.
